save me.

i get 33 papers today. i have five days to grade them.  in that five days, i also have to write a final exam.

so…do you have questions you’d like to ask me? lots of bloggers are doing it. i know i’m a big copycat. whatever.  but see, i have lots of new readers now (HELLO! I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE!) and you might not know me so very well and might have questions.

or not.

but if you do, see, i could periodically answer a few of them during the next week so that i don’t lose the will to live my concentration.

or maybe i’m just an open book.

hmm.  that’s boring.

  1. if you could have readers read one post you have written, what would it be?

  2. No question for you today, just moral support in knowing that marking exams SUCKs. It was a terrible three days of my life.

  3. Well, if it will make your life easier, I guess you could just not grade my paper and give me an A. You know, just to help out, I’m willing to offer up that suggestion.

Also: you have some questions of mine already that need to be answered, but if you decide not to, I’ll give you this one: why did you decide to stop teaching, move to Florida, get your PhD, and start teaching Victorian Lit? Moving from NC to FL is an unusual transition. 🙂

  4. What’s your favorite kitchen utensil, and why?

  5. let’s see…

what’s your favorite outfit to wear? what’s your greatest accomplishment? what do you do to cheer yourself up after a bad day? secret celeb crush (male and female, please!)?

  6. Have you considered The Stair method of marking?
(throw all the papers down a flight of stairs and the ones the go furthest get the highest marks)
